Our Work
- Surface Design and Faux
We concentrate on executing tasteful and timeless surface designs that are carefully coordinated with the owner's tastes and the characteristics of the space (e.g. home style and era, floor coverings, furnishings, room flow). From old world plaster washes and wood-graining to feature walls and murals, we bring new life to rooms in an purposely understated fashion. [see pics] - General Painting Contractor
Whether we are simply painting out flat colors and enameling millwork, restoring a weathered wood home exterior or freshening up a commercial building, we take the utmost pride in the product durability, proper coverage, smooth finish, and clean paint edges as well as maintaining a clean and organized job site. David Wenzel has a background in the interior design industry and a strong sense of style that gives him a special ability to coordinate colors and textures. As for exteriors, David can help you choose color combinations that work with the home's style, neighboring houses, covenants (if any), and the natural surroundings. Color and Design Consultations are charged by the hour, and there is no obligation to use us as painters. [read press] - Murals and Tromp L'oiel
John Wenzel creates oil murals for walls and often uses acrylics and latex for faux and tromp l'oiel work. David's specialties include ethereal cloud murals, faux bois (wood-graining) and beautifully developed faux limestone walls and mouldings. As a team, John and David typically concentrate on different aspects of creation. Having an eye for color and design, David assures that the creation works with the style of the room. As an artist, John is able to emulate many styles and produce fine quality tromp l'oeil features and murals.[see pics] - John Wenzel's Art
John paints everything from impressionist landscapes, abstracted cityscapes, expressionistic interior scenes and complete abstractions. His works are almost exclusively oil on canvas works, as he feels the characteristics of oils are unmatched by acrylics in terms of long working time, blendability and color saturation. Lately, John has been interested in more abstract expressionist creations. [see pics]
